Yet the true mystery of the Castle is not its impossible architecture. It is the fact that the Castle is made of stories.

Welcome to The Tarot of Crossed Destinies, an ever-shifting myriorama where every card connects with all the others, creating an infinite architecture of esoterica: a living palace of arcane wisdom, mystery, and magic where every arrangement reveals new meanings and every path unfolds a different tale.

Inspired by Italo Calvino’s The Castle of Crossed Destinies, this deck explores the ancient relationship between symbols, storytelling, and imagination. Like the travellers in Calvino’s tale, we use the language of Tarot to reveal stories hidden beneath the surface.

Each card is a threshold, a fragment of a greater whole, waiting to be discovered. The traditional Tarot archetypes are reimagined through a dreamlike realm inhabited by spirits of the past, whispers of the future, fragments of stories waiting to unfold. A place where imagination becomes a compass, intuition a map, and every symbol a doorway.

The Castle is a mirror reflecting your memories, fears, desires, and hidden questions. Here, shadows can illuminate, monsters can become guides, and every door may reveal another version of yourself.
